Dolores Stafford and Melvin Miller

526.  Dolores Eileen⁷ Stafford  (William¹, Robert², Andrew³, Daniel⁴ , Clayton⁵, Charley⁶) Born 22 December 1935 in Denver, Denver County, Colorado;¹  died 11 February 1975 in Lakewood (Spivak), Jefferson County, Colorado;² cremated ashes scattered at Red Rocks, Colorado;³ married Melvin Neal Miller 24 January 1953, Englewood, Arapahoe County, Colorado.⁴

Dolores lived with her parents, Charley and Edna in Englewood, Arapahoe County, Colorado as a child and continued to live there the rest of her life.⁵  She attended public school went to one year at South Denver High School and then transferred to Englewood High School.  Her children followed her footsteps and both of them also attended Englewood public schools and graduated from Englewood High School.  

Dolores E. Miller died on 11 February 1975 at a care facility in Spivak, Colorado from terminal cancer.² She did not want to be buried so her body was cremated and her ashes spread at a location of her choice.²  Melvin and children are all living to date.¹¹  In 1980, Melvin met Sharlene Bickford nee Sieckmann. They left Colorado in May 1981 and moved to Trenton, Grundy County, Missouri where they were married on 21 June 1981.¹¹  Thus ends this line of descendants for William Stafford.  This direct line consisted of seven generations before ending with a daughter.
