This purpose of website is to be a forum for sharing genealogical information for families with a tie to the Midwest. States considered Midwest range from Ohio to Colorado and from Michigan to Oklahoma. The website is divided into sections for the various projects on which I am working. My intent is to present documented information in a concise format with links to images of the references to document significant events in people's lives.
My geographic specialty centers on the Midwestern United States including the states from Ohio through Colorado [east to west] and Michigan to Oklahoma [north to south]. This region settled by people from the Eastern states as well as immigrants from many countries around the world. My research projects include families from Virginia, New York, North Carolina, Germany, England, Scotland, etc., migrated westward and settled in the states making up the Midwest.
