Oliver P. and Ida Stafford nee Ritter52. Oliver P. Stafford 4 (William1, Robert2 Benjamin2) was born 30 September 1866 in Morgan County, Indiana.1,2,3,4 He was the youngest child of Benjamin Stafford.1,2 Oliver stayed in Morgan County, Indiana all his life and died there on 07 November 1936.3 There is a stone in the Centerton Cemetery in Morgan County, but neither his date of death nor his wife's date of death were etched onto the stone.4 He married Ida Ritter in Owen County, Indiana on 09 June 1894.7 The first few years after the married they lived on a farm in Morgan County. Sometime between 19005 and 1910,6 Oliver and Ida moved into Martinsville. Their street address was listed as 790 Harrison Street in 1910,6 1920,8 and 1930.9 Oliver was a drayman and hauled goods for people and in later years, Ida helped to provide a living for the family by taking in laundry. He retired between 19208 and 1930.9 Oliver and Ida were the parents of two sons. Earl was born in 1895 and died in 1907.4 In about 1911 their second son, Paul E. Stafford was born.8
